High Five Chart is an upcoming web sticker chart for adult parents and caregivers. This policy covers our prelaunch website, non-saving demo and waiting list.

Who is responsible

What we collect and why

When you join, we store your email address, the headline version you saw, your country (or “UNKNOWN”), your optional marketing preference and the registration date. We use this to manage the waiting list and send a confirmation and a launch update. If we decide not to launch, we will let you know and delete the list. Joining is voluntary; your submission requests these waiting-list messages. The separate, unchecked marketing box is optional consent to hear about new routine charts.

The demo and children

The demo stays in your browser memory and is not saved to our server. It resets when you refresh. We do not ask for a child’s name, nickname, email, age, photograph, account or health information in this prelaunch test. Please use an adult’s email for the waiting list.

Analytics and advertising

We load PostHog analytics and the Meta advertising pixel only when our hosting provider identifies a visit as coming from the United States, Canada outside Quebec, Australia or New Zealand. Canadian visits without an identified province, all other countries and unknown locations are excluded. Excluded visitors can still join the waiting list. We do not show a cookie banner in this prelaunch test.

PostHog records landing_view, demo_open, cta_click and waitlist_signup, with the headline version and country; button clicks also identify whether they came from the landing page or demo. A random browser-session identifier links these steps, is stored with a short queue of pending events in session storage for eligible visits, and is not linked to your email. We do not enable session recordings, automatic interaction collection or analytics cookies. Your email and demo sticker choices are not sent to PostHog.

The Meta pixel loads only on the landing page, never on the interactive demo, waiting-list form or this policy page. It may use advertising cookies and receive browser and network information to measure our advertising. Our hosting provider uses your IP address to determine country and region; we store only country in the waiting list. Country detection is approximate.

Service providers and transfers

We use Vercel to host the website, Supabase to store the waiting list, Resend to deliver email, PostHog for the limited analytics described above and Meta for landing-page advertising measurement. Hosting and email providers may process technical logs and delivery information needed to operate their services. Email open and click tracking is disabled. These providers may process data outside your country. We use their applicable data-processing terms and transfer safeguards. We do not sell your waiting-list email or send it to advertising providers.

How long we keep information

We delete waiting-list records after the launch announcement, after notifying you that the project will not launch, or when you ask to leave, whichever happens first. If launch is delayed, we retain records for no more than 90 days from registration. Deletion from active records does not instantly remove providers’ time-limited backups or required security and delivery logs.

Your choices and rights

Use the unsubscribe link in any waiting-list email to leave the list and delete your waiting-list details, including the optional marketing preference. You can also contact us to access, correct or delete your information or withdraw consent. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to portability, restriction or objection, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier processing.

Changes

We will update this page if our practices change. New product features will have their own updated information before they begin collecting data.
